Federal Bank, one of the leading private sector banks in the country, has released notification for recruitment of Probationary Officers. The application process began online on February 18 and the online registration will remain open till February 28. The bank will conduct an online test on March 11. The candidates selected by way of online test will also have to appear for a group discussion and personal interview. The online exam will be conducted at 15 different centers across India.
Federal Bank Vacancy Details:
Name of the Post: Probationary Officer in Scale I
Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceed 28 years as on 01-01-2017 (Candidates should be born on or after 01-01-1989).
Educational Qualification:Candidates should possess Post Graduation in any discipline with minimum 55% marks, from any recognized university or other institutions established by an Act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of U G C Act, 1956 or Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks, from any recognized university or other institutions established by an Act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of U G C Act, 1956 (AND) should have passed CAIIB certification from Indian Institute of Banking & Finance.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Online Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 700/- for General/ Other, Rs. 350/- for SC/ ST candidates through the payment gateway, using a Master/ Visa Debit or Credit card, Net Banking.

Selection Process:
Candidates who apply for the post of Probationary Officer at Federal Bank will first have to appear in a computer-based Aptitude Test. The Aptitude test will be objective in nature and will be of 90 minutes duration. The test will have following five sections:
Verbal Ability – English Language: 35 questions
Logical Aptitude – Reasoning: 35 questions
Quantitative/Numerical Ability: 30 questions
General, Socio-economic and Banking Awareness: 30 questions
Marketing/Sales Aptitude: 20 questions
Each question will carry one mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The online aptitude test will be followed by a Psychometric Questionnaire of 15 minutes duration.
Candidates who qualify Aptitude test will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
