In a highly controversial action, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scrapped the UGC-NET July 2017 exam. This year, the exam will only be held in November. The highly esteemed examination is held by CBSE to recruit the Assistant Professors and Junior Research fellowship members into various prestigious educational institutions of our country.

It is notified on the CBSE website that CBSE will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor on 19th November, 2017 (Sunday). That means, they are skipping the July 2017 exam.
Online application submission link for CBSE UGC NET will open on 1 August 2017.
Candidates can submit their applications till 30 August 2017.
