Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Custom has extended the last date for filing GSTR-3B for the month of March 2019 from 20th April 2019 to 23rd April 2019. The taxpayers were facing some technical issues while filing GSTR 3B on last date of filing. CBIC has issued the press release in this regard. The CBIC will also issue relevant notification for due date extended of GSTR 3b for the month of March 2019.

Subject: Extension of due date for furnishing return in the FORM GSTR-3B for the month of March, 2019 from 20.04.2019 to 23.04.2019
- It has been brought to notice that due to issues faced in the GST common portal, taxpayers are facing difficulty in furnishing their return in FORM GSTR-3B for the month of March, 2019.
- In view of the said difficulties, it has been decided by the competent authority that the last date for furnishing return in the FORM GSTR-3B for the month of March, 2019 is being extended up to 23rd April, 2019 so as the trade and industry get more time to file their returns.
- Relevant notification will follow shortly.
