The Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) had declared the result of CA IPCC (Intermediate) – November 2017 Examination on its official website icaiexam.icai.org. And the #1 Rank Position for ICAI IPCC November 2017 is bagged by Jay Dharemendrabhai Sheth from Ahmedabad who scored 75.71% while the second position was taken by Susarla Aravind Jayaram from Kolkata with 75.14% followed closely by Simran Kessar of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra who scored 74.43% marks thereby fetching the third position. The overall pass percentage of the ICAI CA IPCC November 2017 examination stands at 26.72% given the difficulty level of the exam.
For a student to pursue the Chartered Accountancy course in India, he/she has to qualify three levels of examination. Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) is the second level of exam to be cleared after the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and before the CA Final Exam. The IPCC Intermediate examination is usually conducted two times in a year in the months of May and November.
IPC examination is divided into two groups with a total of seven subjects. If the candidate appears for the exam in both the groups and obtains 50% marks together in both, he/she is considered as qualified even if they fail to secure 50% aggregate in each group individually. The Merit List is published online for the candidates who secure more than 55% aggregate.
