With two cut-off list already published, several colleges of Delhi University are still open to admission in various courses, though the decrease in cutoff is marginal and in some cases they have retained the second cut-off percentage for admissions.
In the commerce stream, there is hope as many colleges are still open for admissions. Among the North Campus colleges where B.Com (H) is up for grabs are Hans Raj, IP and Ramjas. But while Hans Raj and IP College retained their second cutoff in the third list, Ramjas dropped it by just 0.5%.
B.Com is open in 30 colleges-—second only to BA programme—and there has been a decrease of 3%.
As many as 23 colleges were still offering admissions in the much in demand B Com (hons) course. While most of the colleges were off campus colleges, Hans Raj, Ramjas and Sri Venkateswara colleges still had seats in the course. Admissions to this course have been reopened in Sri Aurobindo, Keshav Mahavidyalaya and Ram Lal Anand.
In Hansraj where the second cut off was 96.25 to 98.25 per cent, the third cut off was 96.25 to 98.5 per cent. In Lady Shri Ram, the cut off came down from 96.5 to 96.25 per cent with a drop of 0.25%.
The minimum percentage required for admission to B Com (hons) was Aditi Mahavidyalaya at 80 to 85 per cent, while admission to Economics can be achieved at the lowest percentage of 82 per cent at Satyawati (evening) college.
