Instructions:
Dear Candidate,
Please follow these steps to use our online services and quicker and easier way of applying for examinations:
1. After Log In on www.ded.nls.ac.in, Click on Academics on the Top Bar.
2. Click on Tests and Exams on the Left side menu
3. You will see the Year buttons. Please click on the Year for which you wish to apply for Examination. For example, if you are a 1st year student of MBL, click the button “1stYear”
4. The Test details are loaded and you will see an item titled “Annual Exam – 2012”. Click on the “Apply Now” button.
5. You will see all the Subjects for the Year you are applying.
6. Select the Subjects and the Location (Bangalore, Delhi, Pune) for taking the Exams.
7. You can save your choice and come back later OR if you are sure about your selections click on “Confirm”. [Please note that after this step you will not be able to change your selections.]
8. After the confirmation you will see (In the same screen) a link titled “Application Form”. When you click on this link it will open a PDF document. (Please watch for Popup Blocker if the PDF is not opening).
9. Please print the Application Form (PDF Document), read it carefully, sign and send it to the address below. Please attach the online payment receipt or DD along with it. [You will need to attach your photos in the Form]
10. Based on your selections a Fee Amount will be determined and a Bill will be created. To see your bill click on Billing/Fees on the Top Bar. You will see an item titled “Exam Fees for Annual Exam 2012…”. Fees include Examination Fees per subject and in some cases Continuation Fee. [Please see the attachments in this Publication for Fee Amounts, Dates and Deadlines]
11. To make the payment online click on “Make Payment”.
12. You will see the payment details. You have the option of making payment in one of the two modes. Net Banking and Credit Card Payment. Net Banking allows you to transfer money using your Bank Account and Credit Card allows you to make payment using your Credit Card.
13. Choose the mode and click on “Make Payment”.
14. You will see a screen where Payment Amount, Transaction Charges and Service tax are shown. If you wish to go ahead click on “click to Make Payment”. You will be taken to the website of the Payment Gateway. [Please do not press BACK button until you have finished the transaction]
15. Once you are finished you can see your payment transaction. You can click on the PDF icon to open the payment receipt in a PDF. Please print the receipt and attach it along with the enrollment form.
a. Payment can be made through DD as well. It shall be made in a single DD, favouring Registrar, NLSIU, payable at Bangalore. Please enter the DD information in the enrollment form.
b. Payments may also be made in cash through at the NLSIU Cash Counter, on all working days (Monday to Saturday) between 9.30a.m and 4.00p.m. Please drop the payment along with the Application Form duly signed and photos attached.
